Key Requirement: Foresters Financial Broker Agreement

A critical step in our onboarding process is the completion of the Foresters Financial Broker Agreement. Foresters Financial is our main carrier, and a successfully completed broker agreement is essential for your licensing and contracting with IFSG.

Here's what you need to do for the Foresters Financial Broker Agreement:

  1. Access the Agreement: You can download the Foresters Financial Broker Agreement by clicking on this link: Foresters Financial Broker Agreement
  2. Page 1 Completion: Ensure that page one of the broker agreement is fully completed.
  3. Page 6 Completion: On page 6, enter your name in the “Broker” field. Do not sign the WITNESS area on the same line (although it is highlighted).
  4. Page 7 Completion: Complete all sections on page 7.
  5. Page 16 Completion: Complete all sections on page 16.
Agent Suitability Questionnaire (ASQ) Instructions:
  1. Complete All Questions: You must complete all questions on the Agent Suitability Questionnaire (ASQ). If a question does not apply to you, please mark it as “N/A” (Not Applicable).
  2. ASQ Pages 14 and 15: Ensure that you complete all of the information on pages 14 and 15 of the ASQ.
General Submission Instructions:
  1. Thorough Review: Before submitting the documents, please check thoroughly that you have gone through the entire document (Foresters Financial Broker Agreement and ASQ) and have completed all the required fields. Ensure there are no blank spaces unless “N/A” is appropriately marked.
  2. Submit All Documents: Submit the completed Foresters Financial Broker Agreement and the ASQ along with all other required documents as listed below.
  3. Submission Location: Save all documents to your IFSG Secured Online Folder.


    Review Carefully: Before submitting the agreement, please read it through entirely.

Additional Onboarding Steps and Required Documents:
In addition to the Foresters Financial Broker Agreement and ASQ, please also complete the following and provide the required documents:
  1. IFSG Contracting Form
  2. Void Check Copy: Please provide a copy of your void check for payment purposes.
  3. Driver’s License Copy: Please provide a copy of both sides of your driver’s license.
  4. Alberta License Documents: Please provide copies of both your Life License and your Accident and Sickness License documents.
  5. Errors and Omissions (E&O) Certificate or Letter: Please provide a copy of your E&O certificate or a letter confirming your coverage.


    Save all documents to your IFSG Secured Online Folder.

Why is the Foresters Financial Broker Agreement so important?

This agreement is a legally binding document that outlines the terms and conditions of your relationship with Foresters Financial. It covers crucial aspects such as your authority, duties, compensation, and compliance obligations. Without a properly completed agreement, we cannot proceed with your licensing and contracting.
